uPVC double glazed windows & doors

uPVC is a high performance window material, created to help improve the thermal and acoustic comfort of a home, whilst improving the homes energy efficiency.

To the Australian market, we are familiar with aluminium, timber and steel windows. These material types are detrimental to a homes thermal/acoustic comfort and energy efficiency as they transmit the active temperature from outside of the home, into the home. Due to the deficiencies of these materials, it requires you to use more energy through your air conditioning and heating units whilst having to get used to putting up with external noises like a main road or noisy neighbour.

The aluplast uPVC extrusion uses up to 70% recycled materials and any waste is 100% recyclable. uPVC itself has very poor conductive qualities, making it difficult for unwanted temperatures to penetrate your home, thus using far less energy to keep your home comfortable. It also does a great job at blocking the noise out from those busy roads or noisy neighbours.

Features

Steel is used in the uPVC window profiles, because steel helps the window to become more structurally sound, supporting corner welds and sashes.
